That's what 'they' said about AOL. AT&T and all the other cheaper ISP's were going to put AOL out of business. Guess what, they forgot that once someone is signed-up on an automatic monthly charge, they would rather pay excess fees than put in the time and effort of changing service.

Changing a web-site to another provider, even if free, may not be worth saving $60 - $120 per year (hell, they can make that up in a day with their yahoo investment).

Yahoo should start charging users of Geocities.
