three cheers for joanie a true worker and info searcher. I have just caught up with your posts and i am always impressed with all the work you accomplish in such a short amount of time. You must be surfin a mile a minute on the web, you give us those super hype links and info out the wazoo. I'm so busy with my day job right now i have no time for trading but i'm making bucket loads o cash so to reinvest when im done with day job. Keep up the good work and I hope to see more than just blue and joanie posting to one another. Ill try to do my share when i have more time 12 hour days and 7 days a week are more than i can handle but the big checks are nice. Now more info on stocks GNET what can i sasy blue thank you for this one and hope to have more nets of my own to offer ,CMGI mine and i got out to soon but then im still learning and only trding on my own for one year. SRCM 99 is the year for this stock and with yhoo and aol signing up, supposedly done and due to announce before feb month end, and analyst upgrade to strong buy and price target of 45$ stock will move and co suppose to start offering service to public this year just to many things going right for future internet king. Even internets spend billions to advertise on tv so just bring internet to tv and watch the money truly flow.
WCII yes the most shorted stock of 98 and ive owned it since 97 alot of good things are happening and with 65$ analyst upgrades and deals being made eve5ry day to sell new customers WCII wil;l be the next airtouch and M/A alligned with british tel AT&T and others i think april will be big for WCII. well thats all for now hope to get back soon seeya pals and keep this techride going.

P.S. i bought sunw this week and have made a small fortune already, the word is a buy out by big blue. no not bsnowshoe, IBM and it could happen by march.

Blue, thanks for the great links; I read through them all as a primer and I guess a statement on stocksite that really stuck out in my mind about Internets was the fact that all the Internet Stocks added together have the same market cap as Eli Lilly - that is absolutely amazing!! I never realized that the cap is so small; that so the supply and demand factor is so very extreme with our pet sector. We are so lucky to be in the right place at the right time; and it will be something I'll always remember when I hear the negative newsblubbers trying to talk the sector down. I guess this will be bound to change when the Big Blue Chips and Everyone Else gets on the dotcom bandwagon - but that will still take quite awhile for it to happen. I guess once we see the beginnings of that, we'll be watching The Fat Lady Starting To Sing, and Not Before that point. But for right now, for as long as it lasts, We Pals On Techride Be Sittin' In Da Catbird Seat. There will be lots of m/a's and splits in Internets in '99!! We got awhile yet, quite awhile. And I still hope GNET goes big IAP on it's own and doesn't get it's unique personality gobbled up by a bigger fish. Go2net has an intelligent adult focus and is the least of a pain in the neck to navigate than any other I've seen. Watching these splits, I had a thought - who is it that would sell big blocks of shares on the few days following the split announce? It sure wouldn't be Individual Investors - it'd be Mutuals who would never want to be holding shares as they split because of accounting problems with NAV valuations it would cause them. I think to watch how big the selloff is after split announce and right before it happens, is to know how many MM's and Bigs are holding shares. Do you think? Blue, I never knew anyone who knows how to tease and build up suspense like you - PLEASE PAL, I did my homework and intro - Part III and Valuation, PUHLEEZE help me get my head back together coming out of the flu, potatoe president yeah right PLLLLLEEEEEAAAASSSEEEE.
909 and The One After,
Joanie
