It is bullish, but it can also be quite painful. I was an AGPH shareholder as it got strangled by Tiger management, one of the largest hedge funds in the world. Stock dropped from the 50s to the teens. As it was getting to the teens, I watched some bozo fund manager on CNBC say it was a 15 dollar stock (where in the world do they get their guests?). I almost swallowed my tongue. Short covering quickly brought it back up to an all-time high where it was purchased by WLA. Point being, an institutional short attack can be very painful -- and believe it or not -- it might have little if anything to do with fundamentals. If someone with enough capital wants to kill a stock he/she can do it (except, perhaps, an internet stock). It's just the way it is. But, in a bull market, once that attack is broken -- look out above.
