This Barrons article... was it this weekend? Can anybody post some excerpts if they see it.

I agree with Jon that the Forbes article was a little one-sided. Also, it is about 6 mos late. What I want someone to write about now is the impact of the web on business software - who is developing some software to exploit these opportunities etc. Once somebody does that, it will change the maturing market into an emerging one again. But nothing is going to happen if these companies spend all their time trying to catch up with niche players like Sebl and I2. I guess when companies get too big, like these software companies are now, the R&D areas start to lose their creativity.

I didn't see the article but what was the reason they suggested it? I'm trying to confirm that their deferred revenues are only $70M because if that's true then I can see big problems coming down the road.

I know Jack will retire from GE in about a year ...
