Blujeans... Exactly, I'm not "investing" here. I'm short-term trading a stock that I think will gap up on news, web site, and pr blitz. : )

Speculating? That's what it's all about, isn't it?

Gambling? I don't know on that one. I entered at a price, knew where I'd leave within 1/8 if it dropped, and know where my exit point is, 15-18, unless direction indicates it's going higher.

I'm fairly new at this, am I finally learning maybe. : )

Yeah, will be fun Monday. Come on back and make yourself to home. All welcome here.

Snerd

bluejeans: gambling

I also agree with Snerd. I don't see trading stocks, either long or short postions, as gambling. I feel I have more of a chance at success with trading than when I go to a casino and start putting quarters into the slots. I have access to information about a stock that I take a position in, be it news, tech indications, DD and probably a bit of all three, therfore I am entering with some knowledge. When putting quarters into the slots, you do so blindly, and it is purely chance that you are a winner. Yes, I am speculating that a stock will go up on the basis of my knowledge. No, I am not gambling as I am not entering blindly into a position.

Thanks for making me think about it... MMK
