Tony,

I understand that Intel will "fix it" so that the serial number won't be "turned on" unless you tell it to. I agree that INTC didn't need this kind of headache, and that it's self inflicted. But I think it will blow over soon.

Pentium III is coming out this month (if I'm not mistaken). Their resources seem to be well positioned.

Just out of curiosity, are people really concerned that INTL will have the same antitrust problems as MSFT? If you think about it, the situations are entirely different. And remember, its not illegal to have a monopoly. MSFT isn't being hounded because nearly every PC in the world uses its operating systems. It's being hounded because it allegedly abused its monopoly position by trying to force competitors out of business. If you have a monopoly -- you are subject to a different set of rules.
