Maybe...but I haven't read much about the case that bodes well for MSFT.
I'm not sure the market is all that lucid right now, anyway. I have a feeling there is a mass mania taking place in many stocks right now....Internets in particular, tech in general.
Too much occurring that doesn't make a whole helluva lot of sense.
That's why I bailed on MSFT a few weeks ago. I may miss more of a runup...but I don't wanna be in for the big fall.

You might consider that if there were a reasonable potential that MSFT would be punished in a significant way then the stock would not be trading at an all time high. The market is predicting the future based upon all available information, and the future looks bright for MSFT.

Wow, that's a pretty simplistic way of evaluating the situation. Maybe the market thinks that a breakup of Microsoft would yield more value, like the AT&T breakup did.

The market, in that light, would be predicting a breakup.
