Thread, Is there a direct stock purchase plan offered by DELL? You can buy stock like GE directly from the company (if you already own 1 or more shares) with no commission, and you can also set up a monthly draft that accumulates and buys shares.

I would like to buy about $100 a month of DELL, but I hate to spend $10-$24 on commissions for a $100 purchase. Or I could wait and save and buy every 4 months or so, but then its agonizing watching the stock go up. (I guess the only real solution is took look in the couch for more money to invest.) Thanks for any help.

I have been a lurker since September, and I love this thread! I have all my meager IRA money in DELL, and would like to go to the DELL shareholder's meeting in July. I am in Houston, so it's not too far.

Carol
