Ian,

RE:While I wouldn't expect $100 / share this year, I would expect to see CYMI hit it long before WFR.

I'll agree with that statement. I do seem to recall some very lofty predictions for WFR.

My long term view of WFR (end of century having reached 100) has not changed.

I still see WFR above 100 before the end of the century.
Message 481722

I'm not sure if their results merit the $100 price target.

The detour to $3 and near insolvency defintely hamstringed WFR's move to $100.

I wonder if there is a difference between selling value-added, complex tools like excimer lasers and silicon wafers? I'll give this some more thought. ;-)

Ian, CYMI has a capacity of about 1000 lasers per year, and I believe that they will not reach this capacity until the next peak in expansion which right now people are putting it at 2002 or 2003. If this capacity is reached, sales will be around $500.000.000, and yes, if CYMI is then valued at 6 times sales, it could reach $100/share, but you have to admit that this is quite a high valuation going into a future downturn. I still see a peak at around $60, which, IMHO, will be quite exuberant as well, yet not bad if one can buy the shares between $25 to $30.
