my friend bot a DELL notebook... maybe three months ago... still under warranty...

something went wrong with the hard drive and DELL won't take it back they expect the buyer to open the notebook up and fix the problem...

i think this part of DELL's business model is BS... cheap ass, mo fo's...

at least IBM isn't so greedy that it won't spend some money for customer satisfaction after the sale...

i mean come on, DELL.... it's true it's cheaper for DELL not to have a repair center.... but then... how many average households would buy a PC from DELL if they knew they had to open it up and fix it themselves when it is under warranty....
