Would probably dry dock at the local SR dealer. No charges for in/outs. Just per foot monthly charge. Plus, I have some good friends that work there.

New vs. Used

Is it worth it to pay the bigger bucks for a new boat? Should I look at larger than '29?

I also was thinking about getting a 24-28' twin walk-around to get my feet wet. We have some very nice ports close by-- Tampa to Naples. Would you suggest that? Isn't the engines the important part on that? Make sure low hours? Used better and spend money on good engines?

Also, what brand? Boston Whalers seem kinda expensive.

Or maybe a power offshore? Donzi's are made here.

I LOVE BOATS!!!!
