Hi Arthur,

Thanks for the advice to use margin. I'm doing that now. I sold 2k CPQ on Friday, and picked up 1k of DELL at a 99.25 (on margin). I had put my chips in CPQ in late December in the expectation of a great run up to their earnings on Jan 27. Well, as we all know, their balloon didn't go up very high despite announcements on Monday re. Alta Vista, decent earnings on Wed, and the announcement of COMPAQ.COM on Friday.
So I admitted that I bet on the wrong horse and changed over to DELL.

DELL is reaching giddy heights, but I keep the following in mind:

1) Whenever I've said that in the past, it has just kept on going.
2) Compared to some internet stocks, its PE is cheap
3) Dell delivers great products at a great price
4) The management team has scruples
5) The market loves DELL

Regards
