"This shows once more that when politicians try to soak the rich with higher taxes, it's often the middle class that gets wet," said Archer, R-Texas.

Hello?! Hello??!! Hello???!!! The Clinton administration is taking steps to ensure that the middle-classes are NOT soaked with those higher taxes! Is that too hard to understand, Mr. Archer?!

Unfortunately for Mr. Archer, the people can very well understand who is on which side -- in the same way they understood as to who it was that got "soaked" when Reagan cut the taxes of the rich!
