The Clinton administration is taking steps to ensure that the middle-classes are NOT soaked with those higher taxes!

Specifically what steps are they taking? They claim to be doing this, but, as we all know, and even the Clinton partisans will admit, Bill has something of a problem with telling the truth. So please be so kind as to explain to us exactly what steps they are taking to protect the middle class. Hmmm?

Contrary to liberal propaganda, one of the basic selling points of the 1986 tax plan removed a large number of people in the lower economic rung from having to pay taxes. That was about the only thing simple about that Tax Simplification Plan. Hello!

The Democrats were the ones who pushed for the AMT. Regardless of what Clinton does, most low and middle income taxpayers are already being indexed into AMT since the Democrats have refused to index the income floor for AMT to start.
