JDEC has hundreds of large UNIX implementations. What difference does it make what platform you are on if you can scale your application from 100 to 5000 users? Users do not care about the underlying OS & DB. They want access and reliability. The supported hardware, OS and DB are probably fifth on the list of requirements when an app is selected.
