Wrong!! I have conversed privately for well over two years with other traders/investors on SI that do not have lots of money who are hoping that low price stocks like DGIV and others can make them a killing!! People understand it might be quicker to make money by buying 10,000 shares of DGIV as opposed to 100 shares of SUNW or the like.

It has been widely known that penny stocks are played by rich and poor alike for the possibility of making that "get rich" feeling.

Pat... loved your post...

It seems that you have had a bit of experience with some "other than main stream" modes of thinking. Very interesting comments.

I must agree with Jane; however, I do believe there are people investing in the penny market that may be short of assets. My family is not hurting for anything, but I would certainly not call myself affluent... at least not by my standards.
