It's clearly not at all like my daughter's problem. Es ist etwas anderes <G>. Let me be the first to admit (since its obvious anyhow) that I'm out of my depth. Having said that, a shot in the dark: Possibly power off and on to reboot will reset something. Or maybe swap out the ATI card. Got another one? <g> BTW, there's a power toy which allows many video settings to be changed without a reboot. NT is better at this than 95 incidentally (don't know about 98). One of the few user interface plusses for NT.
