The Amazon region has a great forest that presents the largest biodiversity of the world. It is a plane equatorial area, covering 5.5 million square kilometers, that corresponds to more than half of the European continent. hyperion.advanced.org ok lets see if I did this right The square kilometer is about 200 acres, or roughly a third of a square mile.
