< What I found intriguing about the article was the info on the fact that even though the body will "try" to reject an organ transplant, the brain will not reject the implanting of cells there. I wonder why the immune system is so particular about a new kidney but will allow this to happen. Any ideas?>

Yea thats interesting, and I'll certainly defer to others with the "background" to answer properly, but will say from what I remember theres something about this protecting the brain from its own bodies defense system.

ICOS will be interesting today, will watch...

It also apprears that if these stocks continue to act like CORR and CEPH (after approvals) then why risk holding anything until drugs get approved and cash starts flowing?

TexasDude,

<I don't know. SCIOS will probably take a hit today even though they got a rec. for their heart drug on Friday. Local TV carried news about this new drug, but it appears that from the review panel they were not impressed with the potential for the drug. Today's WSJ has article today and it isn't upbeat.>

Gee, I didn't find any article on Scios in the Wall Street Journal, let alone one that isn't upbeat. Maybe you can provide the article for those of us who are curious why you are slamming the stock.

Thanks,

Linda
