Seems to me this service should generate a lot of business. Hopefully the market reawakens on Geac.

In the letter to the shareholders for the 1998 annual report Nelson said that customer feedback focused on 3 key requirements.

1. Customers want to leverage their existing investment in application software

2. Customers need to take advantage of new technology

3. Customers face severe shortages in information technology resources

In response Nelson said

1. Their software is Y2K ready
2. Geac is investing heavily in order to ensure that Geac customers have vital and responsive computing enviorments that will carry them well into the next century.
3. In order to address the resource shortage, Geac has offered a new service offerings.

So this fits right into Geac game plan.

I still say they are under valued but we'll have to see how the next quarter report goes.

This sounds positive. Maybe it will generate some internal growth and make Geac less reliant on aquisitions for growth.
