Thanks for the input! Ironically I owned CLFY & RMDY recently and sold them both electing to hold VNTV. I know you have a nice chunk of this so hopefully it will do well, and you can give up your day job at Cybergold. ( If you think I'm going to let you live it down that you wouldn't give a nice guy like me a part time sales job - you're wrong ). I could have had so much fun selling your services to those big corporate biggies!!

If PSFT had wanted to buy VNTV do you really think they would have entered into a partnership w/SEBL?

Sounds like VNTV is going to step up their marketing budget. Would be nice to see some targeted marketing.

>>Even SEBL is strong - could they buy VNTV right now, as some analysts have suggested?<<

Thomas Siebel said in his conference call that acquisition will not be the company's mainstream growth strategy going forward. They will always be willing to look at technologies that enhance their existing product line, but they are interested in growing their marketshare "organically."

Very nice efforts on implementing Vantive at Cybergold, I saw an article in one of the trade rags talking about it.

Can I assume you felt that the internal operations mgmt disagreed on this issue? What do you think they do when the stock drops back?
Wait another year for recovery or take the dime ( they do have that debt on the balance sheet)?

I was hoping for earnings recovery ala CLFY, but the license revs. aren't helping out.
