John,
Yes the techs are looking scary with the exception of Compaq. I don't think we are trading in that nose bleed price range at this point. If Dell doesn't post some big numbers and split, it maybe the straw on the tech camels back.

John,
*************OT*************
I take it you feel that the oil producers will rebound more quickly than the oil service stocks?

I'm not smart enough to know the answer. When I first looked at the oil companies, COC looked like the best deal at the time. TX was going for $58 at the time and is around $46 today. I was bottom feeding for a one year to 18 month double. I just put an oil company tracking portfolio up on SI last night. So I do have oil on my mind. Also might look at steel again. I think it is way too early for steel though.

I'm starting to actually see eye to eye with what some of the posters on the Burke thread are saying.

John, could you give the "the Cliff notes" on what the Burke threaders are saying?
