It looks like in either case, whatever company is going to seek the precious cable lines for interactive services, interface providers like Com21 will benefit. At least this is what my logic tells me. They are in a position to need very strong inside marketing to penetrate these big boys (and girls) while they have the technological lead.

Thanks for the info, Pat. I've been following this story closely for some time. In fact, as a result I bought a small chunk of T last week when it retreated to the mid-80s.

Haven't bought any CMTO yet. Still doin' my homework on this little puppy.

IMHO, T is an undervalued growth stock, though many long term investors in the stock view it as overvalued. This difference in opinion on T's market valuation is the impetus behind what I believe is a change in share ownership now taking place. The nature of the Company is changing -- & so are its shareholders, with new shareholders willing to pay a price that will propel the stock upward. JMO.
