think you hit the nail on the read with negative reference to pr cpq exudes. proplem spills over to way they are packaged/perceived by the portion of the 60% households that will buy first computer. gateway, dell, apple & lesser caliber brands have it all over cpq in this regard. no question cpq is TOP FLIGHT equipment & they may outperform in business sector, but ask yourself how often you hear co-worker, for example, say, "i'm deciding between cppq & so & so". rather you hear, "gateway & dell". momentum is not there dell & lowly gateway for short term --even tho up signif.
