It is truly tragic when anybody gets a life-threatening disease from tainted blood transfusions. It happened to the late tennis great Arthur Ashe, who died of AIDS he contracted as a result of a blood transfusion, as well as many other less famous people.

Still, Clinton probably can't be held legally responsible for anybody's infection, even if he signed a law or executive order while Gov. of AK that sent the blood to the hospitals. And, even if he could be held liable, it wouldn't be relevant to the impeachment of Clinton as President of the U.S.A. (Much like Whitewater wrong-doing, if any wrong-doing got done by Clinton in regard to the Whitewater development, would not be relevant, because it happened before he took office.)

Even so, as I said above, this is a tragic story. One has to feel bad for the poor people who have suffered from somebody else's mistake.
