Almost all the major program (e.g Metastock) have some type of canned analysis. However in my opinion it is very dangerous to listen to these pre-programmed analysis. I believe it is more important to fully understand each indicator your using and why you are using it. "Teach a man to fish and he will eat forever" In the case of VNE it looks like it has developed a very classic flag at half mast formation. No T.A program is going to find this formation for you but it sticks out like a sore thumb on the chart. Check out hardrightedge.com for some basic chart patterns. Best Regards KEITH
