Martin-

Thanks for the intro of Brown Russell...as a West Pointer I took heart in the knowledge that he has such great bloodlines.

I agree that the information is better on SI as the caliber of correspondent seems to be....Dan and the good doctor have added great value to the discussion and, although I know Gary Kehoe, and knew he would only only lend his name to a worthy product, I have marvelled at the tenacity which Dan has undertaken to prove my "faith".

I am now convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that Zicam is not only legitimate but bound to be a blockbuster for this company. I do not understand the foolishness of shorting this company when there are so many overvalued stocks with large floats out there. Perhaps it is an ego thing. Notwithstanding I will also add to my position, once again, as I see so little downside and so much potential.

Thanks to you, Dan, Howard and others for excellent posts and for keeping the faith as the shorts spread dissension amongst the troops... The beauty of the market is good management with a sound business model wins out in the end and I am convinced that is what we have here.

Like you, my relationship to GUMM precedes Zicam. Like you I did not have a clue that the product was in the works. I will bet that few did... I believe that the momentum of this stock was already positive and Zicam has only enhanced it... The stock is cheap based on potential and momentum...I am a long term investor and intend to put my shares away for several years. Anyone who does so, I believe will be tremendously rewarded.

Regards,

Mike

Martin,

Thanks first, for your kind words. I hope that you find SI as beneficial as I do. The preponderance of those who post here are serious about investing, and without a question, there is far less garbage on SI than Yahoo. Judging from your first post, I'm sure that you will earn the respect of many people here.

You made an important point in your post about the integrity of Brown, Gary, and the rest of the Gum Tech management team. While I don't have the extensive background with Gum Tech management that you have, I have found everybody that I spoke to at the company to be intelligent, helpful, and sincere. I am convinced, especially after reading your post and those of others who know Gary and Brown, that Gum Tech maintains the highest standards of integrity. A corporate culture starts at the top and goes all the way down to the lowest levels and I like what I see at Gum Tech.

I'm convinced that the issues that have raised doubt over Zicam are a result of the accelerated release of public statements due to the leak of information. I can find nothing fishy after my due diligence into all the issues and continue to think that this is the ground floor of a huge story.

Best of luck to all, and thanks again for sharing your story with the thread. I'm looking forward to sharing information on this and other stocks with you in the future.

Dan

... Greetings. As a former student intern for The Hon. Richard B. Russell (late '60s) I was delighted to come across your Russell references in, of all places, this tech-stock forum on a company's treatment for the common cold. Weird. Or perhaps serendipity. In any case, I find your comments credible and persuasive and thank you for sharing them.
