Since you asked, I happen to think the following are pretty safe place to put your money:

SYMC (Symantec) -- it has 2/3 the sales of Network Associates (formerly McAfee), yet has about 1/7 the market cap.

IM (Ingram Micro) - the biggest and best technology distributor, by far, which had its first minor hiccup this past quarter.

I don't happen to think Creative is an awful investment at these levels, but I don't think it is going anywhere for a long time (barring a buyout).
