Interesting how that Swiss news is reported - the referendum is mentioned - but last I saw public opinion in Switzerland was opposed (strongly I believe) - also not mentioned is that the sales will take place gradually and over many years - it will probably be a bit like the IMF and Treasury auctions in the past - which were oversubscribed many times over - the other side of this equation will be that other CBs will be among buyers for the sake of stability - assuming it ever happens. Meantime ammunition for the shorters. dd
