Nice to see the GOP thugs fighting amongst themselves!

Btw, Gephardt has announced that he will NOT be running for President in the year 2000. He will concentrate on becoming Speaker of the House. Makes it that much easier for Gore to concentrate on the real race rather than the primaries now.

Looks like 2000 will be a repeat of 1996 -- a bunch of vicious Republicans that will bite each other's heads off in the primaries. One of them will eventually make it, dazed and stunned, only to see the Democrat candidate kick him overboard with his arms akimbo!

I'm sorry, who exactly considers McCain a closet Democrat? I take back everything nice I ever said about him, he's obviously being hit with guilt by association. He's supposed to be pretty conservative in general, isn't he?

I just liked him because he was cosponsor with current Republican poster Democrat Feingold on campaign finance reform. He's also staunchly anti-abortion, in contrast to Feingold. I would say that makes him problematic as a candidate, but I can't see where it makes him a closet Democrat.
