Not true about 20% rule on NDB. I have limit orders (sell) in that are over 400% above days close.

I don't have NDB, but have been planning to get it. I've been using Waterhouse too and among my many complaints is the one you mention - the limitation on placing an online order higher (or lower) than 20 percent from the open. It makes it impossible to play momentum. Until a few days ago, I could at least call and place it and get the online fee, but now they say they have to charge the broker's fee.

I do know that E-trade does NOT have this limitation. Apparently E-trade isn't bad for online orders and you can place them at any price, but it's got a really bad rep for talking with a broker.

Any other suggestions? I can't handle the 20 percent limitation either.
