Thanks for the feedback. Where are you hearing that the problem is with multiprocessing configurations? Are you expecting that Katmai replaces the Xeon chip used on servers today? Will the Xeon chip use the Camino chipset? If the usage of RDRAM on servers is low (and I'm not sure I agree with this statement -- Tate said that RDRAM would be used first in servers and would face competition in this area first, meaning that servers need high-performance memory NOW and that some vendors are hedging their bets, not that usage is low) then why would it be an issue if RDRAM didn't work for servers yet (if, as you say, servers are going to be using SDRAM100 for a while)? Maybe I am not understanding your message correctly. Could you please clarify it for me.
