John -- So, let me get this straight, AMZN raises cash by making a risky bet on converts, then immediately blows half the money on a money loser like PTVL, paying double its traded price, and you got this from a hot tip? IF I thought it was true, what would I do? Lower my target for AMZN and then step up the timetable to see it hit rockbottom this week. Maybe somebody is having some fun with you on this one? What makes you take it seriously?

One in particular on PTVL thread said the buyout is tomorrow at $55, and he sounds very sure of it. Wonder where did he get the information?
