Linda: This is clearly bad news for Iomega, which as you know was at one time a spin-off of IBM. IBM will not put out an inferior product on the market, and I suspect that this could be the death knell of Iomega.

Linda, this is old news, first announced in September. We discussed it here at the time. The IBM microdrive has a FIXED disk. I do not see it as materially harming Iomega business. In the contrary, it legitimizes small drives. Here's an article... zdnet.com and IBM's web site for the microdrive storage.ibm.com Microdrives are cute. I saw one at DiskCon in October. Gottfried
