>WordPerfect Suite and MS-Office stack up so close that you can't tell
>the differences: They have mostly the same features.

Which would lead one to think that MS was first with these 'features', however, MS copied Borland and Wordperfect, just as they copied most of their iexplorer features from Netscape. The day the courts decided that you can't copyright a programs features was the day Gates became a future billionaire.

...and Borland's old CEO, Philipe Khan is still around with his new company -- Starfish Software (which still sells Borlands 1st product: Sidekick)

the quatro pro - yes i saw that once in 90. I remember thinking it was quite nice actually. The same way I thought INFMX as better than ORCL. But its all about marketing in the end. Its about how the public perceives you, how MANY lives it touches and changes. How many eyeballs are captured.

The comparision is quite inappropriate IMO. Why do people compare with failed entities with YHOO ? Why not compare with how MSFT competed with IBM ?

Anyway....

Does anyone know that companies are giving away ownership (shares) for free if you register at their site ? People are being payed to visit sites on the web ! Not joking !
