Henry, looks like Incyte came in with a nickle
when 0.20 was expected...yet I see this in the
PR
The net income for the quarter and year ended December 31, 1998
were impacted by the ramp up in expenses related to the genomic
sequencing and single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) discovery
programs previously attributed to the Incyte Genetics business unit.
Excluding the impact of this business unit, net income would have
been $6.9 million or diluted earnings per share of $0.23 for the
quarter ended December 31, 1998.

So what do you make of all that--if it dips a bit more
early today perhaps a buying op? Do you follow incy,
I'd ask Rocketman, but I saw you were online etc...

Henry, WSJ-online also picks up news feeds on ticker symbols from DJNS. For instance, here is the URL to the LGND news from DJNS this morning. It might be that WSJ doesn't get the "headline-only" early warning system releases from DJNS, but just gets those w/stories attached, such as this one.
