In current issue of Newsweek they have a interesting article in the Science & Technology section titled..."Screening for Genes" Deals with matching medications to your genetic heritage. The JAMA reports that 2.2 million patients a year have adverse reactions to drugs and that 106,000 die. States that few doctors take a patient's genetic profile before writing a prescription but that this is changing as doctors can now test for genes that cause these adverse reactions to certain drugs.

I wonder if this might be an area for GLGC to become involved?
