If it is only rumors, shouldn't 3com come out and say so? Maybe there is some truth behind all this. Otherwise how can 3com sit back and see its shareholders burn in hell? Time to abandon this spineless loser and jump on CSCO.

<Just rumors being spread by the bears...> I agree. IMHO it is a simple matter of COMS breaking through the low end of its trading range yesterday, together with the same kind of malaise that struck CSCO over their just barely beating the estimate. There are, after all, lots of technical traders and they all pulled the trigger this a.m. There is no hard news. It is a great buy at these levels and I have already taken my own advice and have added to my COM$ position. Bruce
