I too was fed up with CIBC. Snail paced online and phone
service. 20-30 min to place online order. With phone orders
I was usually on hold 4-7 minutes. So I wrote them several
E-mails. Got 1 form letter response crying about how they
are doing the best they can, and they're aware of the
problem.(Violin music inserted here)

Three weeks ago, I set up with Greenline. A bit of an
ordeal getting that done, but the trading service is much
better. Phone only rings twice. Never on hold.
Online service is not instantaneous, but 600% better than
CIBC.
