Very-High-Speed and High-Speed Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line (VDSL ) – VDSL technology is at the heart of next generation fiber-to-the-curb network architectures. Aware's VDSL provides up to 26 Mbps downstream and 3 Mbps upstream of data over distances of copper wire of up to 3,000 feet. Aware is developing a VDSL solution using its DWMT technology. This solution can also be configured to operate in a high-speed symmetric mode, in excess of 10Mbps in each direction over up to 5000 feet.
