Bonnie: good point. The problem is that 90%+ jobs are located in cities, not rural areas.

Or take a job with the USPS. The same carrier who works in the NY Metro area almost always needs two incomes to live at the level they want to, while the carriers in the sticks live like kings and queens.
I know life is'nt fair, but it's becoming increasingly obvious that area wages are needed in some jobs. Yogi
