Anthony I spoke with MSFT sidewalk today regarding the whole "partner" thing. I asked if I signed my company up could I use the word partner in advertising and at my web site. They said "no".

ALL press releases with MSFT have to be approved by MSFT and there are a number of them right that are not approved. They said that there were problems with certain companies and using the word "partner" in their press releases it was unathourized and it will be stopped.

I asked can my company use the word "partner" with MSFT sidewalk. He said "no". I asked will any company be allowed to use the word "partner" in their advertising or press releases they said "NO". They said companies involved with MSFT sidewalk are paid advertisers. They said anyone who put the word "partner" in any of their press releases did so without MSFT approval... They (press releases) should not have gone out that way.
