Then Levinson, President and COO of ETrade, comes on CNBC and is asked : Well how many trades can you handle simultaneously before your system has problems?

And she says: Oh, hundreds and hundreds of thousands but that's not the issue. We're a financial destination site.

What a crock! It is the issue if you want to do something with that financial information rather than just educate yourself. And they couldn't possibly handle hundreds and hundreds of thousands of trades simultaneously.

So much for the credibility of the ETrade management.

I think etrade must be crazy to put in a patch during the week! Something that affects trading should be done over the weekend imo hn

cnbc did a service in covering the situation today. It is the small investor who they serve. You guys did a great job. thanks John
