Doug, first off... $20M plus market cap is irrelevant, market cap's on e-commerce companies are being set at projected growth... when site becomes active and company reports Revenues of at least $10M for fiscal 99, you can expect value to rise sharply ($40-50/share). Can you legitimize eBay being worth 11+ Billion dollars on only $47M in annual revenues and only 0.04/share in earnings. You have to do a comparison with similar companies to get a estimated value... so, when the site becomes active this company will be EXTREMELY undervalued compared to their competitor.

Company has stated that auction site will be accepting items for bid within 2 weeks and fully operational by end of Feb., so I would think giving them at least until then to see if they are going to be a legitimate auction site would be appropriate. They had no REAL reasons to put out news releases on wires or be fully reporting until they started their auction endeavor... everyone has to start somewhere.

Full auction sites are not crowded yet... eBay is their only competitor in the spectrum of what you are able to list for auction.

As far as the 700,000 hits... well, that was just a fluff PR. They had their main page loaded 700,000 times... if you were to go to the site and reload the main page over and over again, you would notice the hits counter rise proportionately... so, I would estimate they have only had about 50-80k hits from individuals thus far. Yes, they don't have anything to do except look around which is what people are doing. People want to see if the new auction site is worth their time.

All in all, at this time, price is still reasonable, albeit a gamble currently because they are NOT fully functioning yet... each person must decide whether or not to take such a gamble. Not trying to leap down your throat, I just think you are jumping to conclusions a little too premature (your prerogative though).

Anyways, take care and good luck!!!
