Sure, you know, don't you just like to go walk around your bank, get free coffee, check out the marble and fresco, look at the nice brochures, look at the tellers - you can't talk to them though you know, your cash is in the vault, but you can't get at it. How ridiculous.

The ONLY thing keeping me from closing my E*trade account is the 2 weeks down-time it would take to complete the process.

If other online brokerages are reading this: MAKE IT EASY FOR ME TO SWITCH. Give me use of my funds immediately upon instituting the transfer and I'm yours. Hey, it worked for MCI v AT&T it can work for you too.
