But this is only one answer. The web site is always having some sort of trouble. I vote for a new CEO and PRES. The ones we have now are in over their head. Surely somebody could run this business.
If they do not have the right hardware--GET IT.
If they do not have the right software---GET IT.
If they do not have the right technicians--GET THEM.
JUST FIX IT. Get it, E-TRADE????? FIX IT.
Do you realize how bad you look. Why would you want to appear on TV and have everybody snicker at you?? It is way past time to do something. Problems have been there daily and still remain.
How does it feel to have an "E-Trade sucks" thread in Silicon Investor?? How long is it going to take until this thread makes the headline in the Wall Street Journal?? Will you be satisfied then???

Today is only part of the problem.

I sure hope the customers were not to hard on the customer service reps. These poor people probably were taking a lot of crap because of a failure of E-trade management to keep the system working. How do they even hire and keep a CSR?? It surely must be a very nasty job.
