>>>yo guys day trading pair are making a mistake

Tim,

I like your confidence. You can see out several days and weeks in a way I have yet to learn.

Though I bought and have held PAIR at 10 5/16 since Monday, I kept my daytrading cash available. Momentum traded IMON and PRFM yesterday. Played PAIR today (bought at 10) because the trend was good.

I've never yet had enough knowledge to position trade. Only to jump in and out of momentum plays and to hold some favorite longs.

Using your knowledge and experience, I'm confidently positioned in my first ever position trade: PAIR, but only to the extent I feel comfy. I am responsible for both the gains and losses here. If PAIR tanks (to 9 1/2 <ggg>) instead of rocketing up (to 25+), you aren't to blame. No matter what happens, I simply appreciate your excellent tips, your common sense advise, and your insight.

The math is fairly simple. Downside on PAIR is limited (it's a solid company with a new product in a hot sector), upside potential is excellent (takeover or not). I suspect (and was thinking of asking you) that, should a takeover happen, news will most likely hit after market close resulting in a huge gap up some morning. For this reason, and because the FOMC meeting has ended, I've got my short cash in PAIR overnight tonight.

Normally holding a stock overnight would cause fear in me (not knowing trading tactics well), but instead it feels like buying a powerball ticket that can be returned for cash if it doesn't hit the jackpot. Dang fun.

And thanks.

Shoe.
