Someone on this thread was long Compaq (I mean dogpaq)- the horror! Maybe it's me. I bot 400 shares of Cpq and pending(sold) 4 Feb 45 puts on the Cpq/AV news.

Tee Hee - Dell can do 2 inventory turns in a 24-hr period. 14 days seems like eternity to me. Of course the ideal is to ship the product before you pay your suppliers. Michelle, I have no doubt that DELL can turn inventory every 12 hours. I doubt that Covey would understate their turn. Anyway I dont know the book business it was just a gut reaction, ok ok Im way off base. It just seems telling that the turn is not that fast due to the need for so much storage space. Glenn
