A lot of companies are going wireless internet. GTE for one. The cost is prohibitive except for business use. Something like $295 month. Don't think this will hit mainstream use for several years if ever.

At the same time, need for broadband is growing exponentially, and cost of laying new fiber is enormous. Even when Qwest, GTE and others get through, the new uses and demand will probably be ahead of them, still. The Qwest CEO compared it to processor speeds. As fast as it increases the demand has kept up. Same could be said for disks, both floppy and hard drives.

I think we're sitting on a time bomb - the kind that will take off with growth few companies ever see. Sure will be interesting to look back 5 years from now. Osicom, at $150 million (or so) Market Cap today could be like IBM or CISCO by then. I'd settle for Ciena's market cap of over $2 billion with no more of a product line than Osicom and NetSilicon combined. We'd have to have a stock price of $200. Actually, I think we're better positioned than Ciena.

Wireless Gigamux: When I visited the San Diego facility with a couple of my engineer friends 9 months ago, one of them asked about combining wireless communication with the gigamux. He asked if that was the future of the gigamux and then he talked for awhile with the engineer who escorted us about the potetnial and how it might be done. Well I had no clue what the hell they were talking about(too technical). They went on about it for 5 minutes or so. The Osicom Engineer seemed to indicate to us that they were working on it. Could it be the 3rd generation advancement?
