Keith, iSoft (publishers of StockWiz) have been advertising quite a bit lately in the UseNet newsgroups, and I also recently checked them out. After visiting their web-site and reading the customer comments and complaints found there (in the forums at their site) I decided to stay very far away from them. After your comments here ... I'm glad I did!

If you are paying for the service via credit card, I would advise you to notify your credit card company immediately and not trust them to process your cancellation. I have read the comments of others, with a similar experience to your own, who continued to be billed by iSoft!

Good Luck!

I have noticed that some people have been looking for a data provider that is: 1. Reasonable in price, 2. Allows you to download in a short time frame, & does all the maintenance (ie moves stock from one exchange to another & handles all the splits) well I think I have found it. First off I would like to make it clear that I DO NOT have any connection with this company except that I have been doing a Beta Test for them.
The name of the company is End Of Day Data Services & I have been doing testing for them for about a month + and am real pleased with what they have come up with. Up until I found these guys I have been getting my Data from Interactive Data out of the U.S. at a cost of $25 USD which means that as a Canuck I have been paying around $40 CDN, also It would take me about Three hours to download the Canadian Exchanges every day (all stocks) as well as I would then have to go and clean up the data myself for such things as splits, deletions and transfers to other exchanges which I wouldn't do on a daily bases so I would end up with a lot of data that was useless.
With End Of Day Data I download VSE,TSE,ASE & INDICIES in about 3 to 4 Min., They do the daily Maintenance on the Data & the cost is $25 CDN.
Also when you first download the Data you get 2 Years History Data,& you can download VSE,ASE,TSE,NYSE & NASDAQ as well as the INDICIES for the above price. Needless to say I'm happy with what they offer and they think they should be up and running in about a weeks time with there final downloader software (which is free).
Hope this helps, Fred
